We’re looking for a motivated Lead Generation Specialist to join our London-based team and help attract inward investment to Scotland. As a global international business hub, and with a geographical remit spanning the rest of the UK & Ireland market, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of UK and international businesses to help create jobs in communities across Scotland.
The role
You’ll design and deliver a series of business engagements, showing prospective investors the value of being based in Scotland, helping to secure their investment. You’ll mainly focus on manufacturing and energy transition opportunities. As such, you’ll have the opportunity to develop strong sectoral knowledge, refine your sales skills, and use your own initiative and creativity as part of our lead generation team.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Developing and implementing plans to identify, engage and generate inward investment leads from across our prioritised target lists of UK & Ireland-based businesses. These plans will be aligned with our Opportunity Area plans, with a particular focus on target companies in the energy transition, engineering and manufacturing spaces.
· Identifying and generating inward investment leads from a targeted list of existing investors in Scotland (both account managed and non-account managed), to identify either job expansion or safeguarding opportunities.
