The role
Reporting to the Team Leader of the Large Grants Appraisals team, you’ll work across complex innovation projects and manage applications from company inception through to approval and beyond. You’ll focus on strong financial and economic returns to boost Scotland’s international competitiveness and help deliver on net-zero ambitions.

Who we’re looking for
You’ll have significant experience in science, engineering, or technology and innovation, and be confident analysing and assessing information. You’ll have a strong technical and/or research background, and ideally some experience in managing grant applications. This includes undertaking due diligence to preparation of approval papers, negotiation of bespoke contract conditions, and communicating whether or not to fund a project.
