The difference you’ll make
We currently have a vacancy for an Account Manager within our Business Growth team delivering support to companies in Edinburgh and the surrounding area.
Successful applicants will work with ambitious companies to support their growth and deliver economic benefits for Scotland. Building relationships at a senior level, you’ll provide support & advice to growing SMEs on a range of strategic challenges, from investment and finance to innovation and leadership.
Working as part of a team, you’ll bring in specialists from across Scottish Enterprise and our partners, to help those companies achieve their goals.
The role you’ll fulfil
The qualities you’ll bring
You will have experience in a commercial, corporate, economic development, marketing or finance role in the private sector, and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues that companies face as they grow. You’ll be an excellent relationship manager, with strong communication & interpersonal skills and an ability to influence at a senior level. You will be comfortable developing strategic plans using diagnostic and analytical tools and have experience managing projects and co-ordinating internal teams.
Your existing business networks will enhance your effectiveness and you will have a working knowledge of economic development principles and SE’s goals. Your solid business experience and understanding of best practice is key to building trust and you’ll be able to work with companies as an honest broker, addressing a broad range of business challenges in a range of sectors.
