The Opportunity
This is your chance to join Scottish Enterprise’s Graduate Development Programme and deliver in a role that makes a real difference to Scotland’s economy. Our High Growth Company Creation team looks to capitalise on Scotland’s world-class research base by supporting its commercialisation. This means you’ll be working closely with many of Scotland’s Universities, Research Institutes and NHS boards to help form high-growth companies that’ll have a significant impact on our economy in the future.
The role
As a Graduate Programme Manager, you’ll help identify projects stemming from Scotland’s research base and develop these into companies with the potential to scale. You’ll be bringing disruptive technologies to the market, raising significant investment and helping to achieve high growth in international markets. This is an exciting opportunity to understand the commercialisation process and the business landscape in Scotland, as you work with world-class researchers to find ways of applying new technologies to real-world problems. You’ll also build relationships with leading Scottish stakeholders, including top universities and support organisations.

Who we’re looking for
You’ll join us with qualifications or skills and experience at SCQF Level 9 as a minimum (e.g. BA / Ordinary Degree, Graduate Diploma or SVQ at SCQF Level 9) in one of Scottish Enterprise’s Key Sectors – preferably Green Energy, Life Science, Industrial Biotechnology, Fintech, Quantum and Photonics, Data and Digital or Space.
