This is a great opportunity to enhance and increase Scottish Enterprise’s (SE) impact when it delivers interventions in the Scottish economy. As part of a small, supportive team, you will work to develop projects that deliver economic development and environmental benefits for Scotland.
The role
As a Researcher, you’ll develop new methodologies for appraisal and evaluation, and build an understanding around what works in delivering economic development benefits. You will play a key role in building evidence and thinking that influences current and future interventions.
You’ll manage and deliver your own portfolio of work. The workload is varied, and will give you the chance to collaborate with colleagues across SE.

You should have understanding of economic development and the principles of appraisal and evaluation. You’ll also have good interpersonal skills, and be able to work with people of varying levels of seniority with ease. An inquisitive mind is a must.
